About this role

Summary As a key member of the GFL Edmonton team, you will be the first point of contact for customers both external and internal. You will provide operations support to our team and liaise with internal departments as required. This position must go above and beyond to provide extraordinary customer service. Additional attributes are an enthusiastic individual who presents a professional demeanor and positive attitude in every task.  The position will be based out of the Edmonton GFL office (4208-84 Ave NW), Monday through Friday. 8:00am to 5:00pm. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Answers telephone calls.  Professionally greet and communicate with all visiting clients and vendors. Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction. Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller. Confirm accuracy between system information and received paperwork. Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed General office duties as required. Performs data entry, filing, copying, and miscellaneous office duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1-2 years of payroll and administrative/receptionist experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent communication skills.  Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office and Google software applications.  Able to work in a team environment or on your own with limited supervision. Ability to multi-task. Outstanding attention to detail. Great work ethic with professional attitude. Exceptional data entry/keying skills.
