About this role
Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time. Netflix is pursuing consumer products because we believe it will drive meaningful show awareness and buzz with more tangible, curated ways to interact with our most popular content, and, in effect, drive long-term revenue. We want licensed merchandise to help promote our titles and build them into franchises so they become part of the zeitgeist for long periods of time. ### The Opportunity We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Senior Director, International & Global Hardlines, and the wider Consumer Products & Experiences (CPX) team, spanning our EMEA, UCAN, APAC and LATAM markets. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, anticipate needs, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple and diverse responsibilities with strong attention to detail. A high level of organisation and effective communication skills are important. We are looking for someone who can not only be effective in their day-to-day work but can identify opportunities to make the overall team more organised and efficient. Someone who is curious, demonstrates initiative, and exercises good judgment will be most successful both in the role and at Netflix. Read our culture memo to understand more about how we work. ### Responsibilities Include * Diary management, scheduling meetings and calls internally and externally, including booking and confirming large cross-functional meetings across multiple time zones (EMEA, UCAN, APAC, LATAM). * Attending meetings, taking notes, and managing agendas. * Assisting in preparing presentation slide decks and other materials, including for onboarding new team members. * Managing communication and information flow across multiple teams, functions and regions (including global marketing, PR, brand, consumer products, and content). * Coordinating with regional Consumer Products teams and assistants across EMEA, UCAN, APAC and LATAM to keep the wider Hardlines organization aligned. * Managing various internal events, including offsites and training. * Coordinating travel arrangements as required, both domestically and internationally. * General admin, such as processing travel and expense reports and maintaining Google group distribution lists. * Collaborating with other assistants across multiple departments and regions. ### Candidate Profile To support inclusive hiring and reduce unnecessary barriers, we distinguish between requirements that are essential for success in this role and those that are beneficial but not mandatory. Must-have: * 10+ years of experience as an administrative assistant, including supporting at VP level or above, or equivalent experience demonstrating similar scope and responsibility. * Motivated to develop a career in the administrative/business support field. * Able to prioritize, manage complex calendars, and coordinate across multiple time zones and stakeholders. * Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, in a dynamic, team-oriented setting. * Able to respond promptly and effectively to incoming requests and changing priorities. * Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information. * Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders at the same time. * Proficiency in G-Suite (or similar productivity tools). * A commitment to embrace and advocate for inclusion is essential.
