About this role

Part-Time Office AdministratorMelbourne CBD | Part-time | In-office | $70,000–$80,000 + super FTE, pro rata Keep the office running. Keep the team moving. We're looking for a highly organised, practical and dependable Part-Time Office Administrator to take ownership of the day-to-day office and administrative tasks that keep a busy technology business running smoothly. Rather than office coordination, supplier management, travel bookings and ad hoc administration being spread across senior team members, you'll become the person who keeps those things moving. You'll need to be comfortable working independently, using good judgement and dealing with the occasional change of plan without being thrown by it. Some tasks will be planned. Others will simply need sorting out. What you'll be responsible forYour focus will be practical office and executive support, including: General office organisation and day-to-day office management Facilities and property-related coordination Managing relationships with external suppliers and service providers Coordinating the external cleaning provider and ensuring agreed services are delivered Managing grocery, kitchen and office-supply orders, including regular Woolworths orders Assisting with documentation, meeting preparation and agenda setting as required Coordinating executive travel, including flights, accommodation and itineraries Helping with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as they arise To be clear, you won't personally be cleaning the office. You'll be responsible for coordinating the external provider and making sure the office environment is looked after properly. The kind of person who will do well hereYou may have worked in office administration, office coordination, executive support, facilities administration or a similar role. More important than your previous title is how you work. You'll likely be someone who: Is organised, dependable and follows things through Notices what needs attention and takes ownership of it Is comfortable dealing with suppliers, facilities and practical office matters Can manage multiple small priorities without losing track of the details Works independently and doesn't need constant direction Communicates clearly and professionally Is comfortable supporting senior people and handling information with discretion Can adapt when priorities shift or something unexpected comes up Enjoys being useful, solving practical problems and making other people's working lives easier Is looking for a hands-on part-time role rather than a people leadership position Working patternWe're flexible about how the part-time hours are structured. This could look like two full days per week, or reduced hours spread across three days, for example something around 10:00am–3:00pm. We're open to shaping the schedule around the right candidate and what works best for both sides. What is important is that this is an in-office role in Melbourne CBD, as the work is centred around office coordination, facilities, suppliers and practical day-to-day support. About the businessYou'll be joining a growing Melbourne-based technology company operating across Australia and international markets. It is a relatively small, ambitious team where people move quickly, priorities can change and everyone is expected to take ownership of their area. That makes this role more important than it might appear on paper. When the office, suppliers, travel and administration are handled properly, the broader team can focus on the work they are there to do. The detailsLocation: Melbourne CBD Working arrangement: In-office Hours: Flexible part-time arrangement, likely around 10:00am–3:00pm across 2–3 days per week Salary: $70,000–$80,000 + superannuation FTE, pro rata based on agreed hours If you're someone who likes creating order, enjoys being the person who gets things sorted and wants a genuinely flexible part-time role where your contribution will be noticed, we'd love to hear from you.
