Supporting two busy Directors with demanding and high-profile portfolios, you’ll become a trusted partner who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be someone who is always one step ahead, anticipating needs, solving problems before they arise and ensuring our Directors can focus on delivering our ambitious People agenda. No two days are the same. One minute you could be juggling complex diaries and coordinating senior meetings, the next preparing reports, papers, presentations, managing confidential correspondence or supporting key projects across the People team. You’ll have the confidence to make decisions, build strong relationships across the University and work independently with minimal supervision. If you’re someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, loves being organised and takes pride in enabling others to perform at their best, we’d love to hear from you. About You You’re an experienced Personal Assistant to a senior director/s who enjoys working at pace and genuinely loves making things happen. Highly organised and proactive, you’re always thinking ahead and anticipating what’s coming next rather than waiting to be asked. You quickly build credibility with senior leaders and colleagues, exercising sound judgement, discretion and professionalism in everything you do. You’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities, handling sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and adapting quickly when plans change. You have exceptional organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a calm, positive approach under pressure. Above all, you’re someone who takes ownership, works with minimal supervision and enjoys being a trusted partner who makes life easier for those you support.
