The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Legal Secretary to join our Construction and Infrastructure team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and matter management support, ensuring matters progress smoothly and deadlines are met within a busy and collaborative practice. The Role As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support while assisting with the day-to-day management of legal matters. Working closely with lawyers and stakeholders, you will help maintain efficient workflows and contribute to the overall success of the practice. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and matter management support to the Construction and Infrastructure team. Prepare, format and manage correspondence, legal documents, briefs and court materials. Assist with billing, file management and document administration. Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems. Support debt collection and general practice administration activities. Coordinate meetings, calendars and team priorities. Monitor deadlines and ensure matters remain well organised and progressing effectively. Provide general administrative support to facilitate the smooth operation of the practice. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or in a similar support role. Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, resilient and professional approach. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Confidence supporting senior professionals and working collaboratively within a team. Strong administration and document management capabilities. We also welcome applications from experienced Executive Assistants and Personal Assistants with strong organisational, administrative and stakeholder management skills who are interested in transitioning into a legal support career.
